Lead Pastor Mark & Delta Schrade

Pastor Mark served as the Senior Pastor of Family Worship Center for over 14 years before coming to Metro Church in 2007. His B.A. in Biblical Education was received at Lee university and his Master of Divinity degree was obtained at the Church of God School of Theology. While serving at the North Cleveland Church of God, he was selected by Cleveland Jaycees as an “Outstanding Young Religious Leader.” Before beginning his pastoral ministry he served in various positions as: evangelist, State Youth and Christian Education Director, youth camp and camp meeting speaker. Pastor Mark has served on many national and state boards. He and his wife , Delta have two boys, Gabe and Josiah. He enjoys sports, exercising, reading, and traveling in his spare time.

| Joe is a graduate of Mountain State University. He has been in ministry,
ranging from parachurch organizations to local churches, since 2003. He
and his wife Kayla met when they were in church camp, and were married

 Worship Arts Pastor Bruce Hill
|
Bruce Hill, a graduate from Gadsden State, Samford
University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, joined the
Metro Church team as the Worship and Arts Pastor in 2009. He has
experiences in choir growth, leading worship during conventions,
workshops, conferences, and churches. Bruce has led worship conferences
at Christ Church and is the former Worship Pastor of Gardendale’s First
Baptist Church. Bruce is a husband to Teri Hill, and a father to Brad
and Kaley Hill. He enjoys spending time with his family, raccoon
hunting, and showing Gaited Horses in his spare time.

With an education spanning Visual Arts to Family Counseling and
experiences in ministry in some of the biggest cities in the US, Derrick
is a talented and appreciated part of Metro Church. Derrick’s true
gifting and passion lie in the arts; acting, directing, visual, and
special projects are just some of the many ways he keeps the creativity
flowing. Derrick and his wife Chrissy were married in 2002 and have
three amazing children.

As Student Pastor, Jason and his wife Christina lead the students of
Metro Church towards becoming a disciple of Christ. They lead the Metro
Student Ministry which helps students connect with others, learn to
love and worship God, and learn to relate to what the Word of God says
to their lives. Jason and Christina were married in 2001 and have two
children, Peyton and Brayden. They believe that God is looking for
young people who will change this generation and are not ashamed of Him.

J.P. is a graduate of the University of West Florida, where he received
his Bachelors Degree in Business Management. After 22 years of
corporate management, J.P. ventured into full-time ministry. J.P. and
Cheryl have been married for 30 years and have five children and three
beautiful grandchildren.
