Big Adventure Children’s Ministry
At Big Adventure, kids are invited on a “Big Adventure” with God. The goal is to help kids from four years of age to fifth grade encounter and grow in their relationship with God. This Sunday morning experience will teach kids how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, utilize the Word of God, and cultivate powerful worship and prayer so they may grow in His presence and be fully equipped to reach the world.
Big Adventure Sunday Mornings
Unite
Sunday morning kicks off with our program called “Unite”. Unite was created to give children a Sunday school-style lesson but integrated with relational/character building principles. Unite begins at 9:15.
Explore
Each Sunday morning, kids are give the opportunity to explore ways to worship God. Creative characters, games, object lessons and a weekly hands-on large group talks will take your kid’s on a fun-filled adventure with God. Explore Worship begins at 10:15.
Discover
Following our worship services, we offer small groups that reinforce the Bible principle of the day. Our goal is to help kid’s “Discover” how the daily lesson applies to their life. Discover begins at 11:15.
Big Adventure Wednesday Nights
Emerge
During the fall and spring Big Adventure does a musical production. Our rehearsals begin Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Our pray is that kids will “Emerge” in their faith as they use their talents for God. Relate
Following our Wednesday night choir rehearsals, we have small group sessions. Kids will learn how to relate the night worship lesson to their everyday lives and build a community among their peers where they can serve one another with prayer. Relate begins at 7:30 p.m..
While Big Adventure is usually all about the kids, they do offer a range of family-friendly events:

- Advent Christmas Program
- Holy Week Children’s Program
- Summer Camp
- Family Festival
Upward Basketball
Registration is now underway for 1st – 4th
grade boys and girls. Metro is once again partnering with Briarwood and Lakeside to host this league. Registration forms are
available at the Welcome
Center and the Church
Office. Deadline for registration is October 30th. Payment of $78
must be included with the registration which may be dropped off at the Welcome Center or the Church Office. If you have
