Passion for God
Being passionate about God is what drives every aspect of life at Metro. Early New Testament believers showed their “passion for God” by ministering “in worship and prayer.” (Acts 13:1-4; 11; 21) Vibrant worship, exciting experiences, and amazing events are always available to everyone who is looking for a place to encounter God. Whether you attend a worship service, concert, or conference there is always an opportunity to share in the passion for God’s presence.

Authentic Community
Life is all about the people you share it with. That is why developing an authentic community is top priority for Metro. A place where everyone, no matter age or demographic, can develop meaningful and lasting relationships that bring us closer to God. Just as Barnabas worshipped with fellow believers in Antioch (Acts 11:23), you too will have opportunities and an environment to build those needed friendships.

Relevant Discipleship
Metro’s model of Relevant Discipleship is based on a Holistic Discipleship model that blends formal education (Knowing God), informal education (Becoming Men and Women of Character through Spiritual Transformation), and non-formal education (doing the hands-on work of the Kingdom). This approach impacts the head, the heart, and the hands of every believer. This is accomplished through classes, seminars, and events designed to nurture, care, and equip believers at all age levels. New Testament teaches that those early believers at Antioch had intensive discipleship which ultimately changed their lives as well as those around them (Acts 11:26).

Great Vision
The Antioch church was the “epicenter” of mission outreach in the NewTestament (Acts 13:4). The same is true for Metro Church today! God has a great vision for every individual, a vision that embodies connecting them in relationship and cultivating their gifts, talents, and experiences into strategic service. For that reason, we provide opportunities for everyone to serve. We believe you have a special and unique purpose and we want to help you achieve it.
